Anyways, the influx in new musical instruments has caused my sister to get involved. We have learned 2 songs so far, but now we need a better place to play. One that isn't on the floor in our livingroom, because that's kindof dumb, And two; people trip a lot on the chords, and bump the tuning pegs. It's just not a safe/ideal situation.
We have found an area in our house that we always forget about, its this attic area filled with clothes and crap nowhone uses; the space is underutilized. Me and my sister decide to just clear it out and put all the music in there.
7 days pass, we both tried our hardest to procrastinate it away, but to no avail. Which brings me to my first question:
Why is it that we as teenagers, and most people, procrastinate?
I know some people don't, and they're called presidents.
But why? Or, Rutha, what prehistoric purpose does procrastination serve? If you think about it, all procrastination is is your mind telling your mind to not want to do things that are beneficial, and sometimes enjoyable, (like in the case of the music room thing).
There's no way behavior like that could be helpful in prehistoric times, or even up until the 19th century. Did people just not procrastinate back then? My theory is that procrastination is a recent human trait that has come up, maybe because the world isn't as dangerous anymore. (at least for 1st world countries).
That was just me thinking out loud. So why is procrastination even a thing? Do you think it's a recent (de)evolution? I think it's pretty annoying, what do you think?
These are all questions that can be answered.
In the Comments Below...
By the way, the two songs me and me sister learned are Valerie by Amywhinehouse (don't judge) and I think Chamber of Reflection by Mac Demarko. The latter is kindof tricky, and whenever we play it it's not too solid.
That is all.
Cudose
or is it cudos...
Coudose?
